Both Miox (Montreal, QC) and Windshear (Halifax, NS) have been kicking up some solid live sets over the past few years, and have now knuckled down to put some of this sonic tumult into a split release. In “Glial Acari,” Miox constructs a slower composition of mangled speech set against Windshear’s flailing field recordings, junk-dragging, and phonic clatter.
