Following their debut tape on Fallow Field, WITHERING HERD returns with another carefully crafted power electronics narrative fit for the likes of cautious listening. This Ohio/Illinois duo commits a haunting style of industrial noise filled with intent and purpose. At times decayed beauty, and other times pounding madness. Moving between cinematic synths, caustic vocal work, executed electronics and sharp defined harsh noise, WH pieces together a work that flows around an impulse. Painting a picture of difficult loss and desperate living through ambience and aggression.
Tape is accompanied by a booklet of lyrics and writing to further illustrate the artist’s intent and purpose.
